Employment Screening Services
NATIONAL DATABASE SEARCH
This is a great starting point! Criminal records from numerous state and county sources are checked, however, many courts do not share their data with this database, consequently we search at the courthouses. Also, included are aliases, Social Security number verification and searches for national sex offender records, terrorist watch lists, healthcare sanctions, etc. This should be a part of background check for employment.
COUNTY CRIMINAL SEARCHES
These searches are specific to the applicant’s name and date of birth. This is where most criminal filings are located, hence we do on site searches. These also identify restraining orders and protective orders.
COUNTY CIVIL SEARCHES
These identify lawsuits in which the applicant is, or has been, involved.
FEDERAL CRIMINAL SEARCHES
This is a search of U.S. District Courts for violations of Federal Law (embezzlement, bank robbery, tax evasion, counterfeiting).
DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES
Results include license status, expiration date, accidents, violations and citations. Factoid: Not paying child support can result in a license suspension, which may not show up in a litigation search, but will here!
These can reveal a person’s credit history and debts, judgments, liens, bankruptcies, garnishments, former employment. Certainly a consideration if the applicant will be handling money.
You give us the school, degree and years of attendance, and we will contact the registrar to verify.
We will verify former employer information from a CV, application or resume.
PROFESSIONAL LICENSE & CERTIFICATION
If your business requires that applicants hold and maintain professional licenses and/or certifications, as part of this employment background check, we verify through a variety of licensing boards and credentialing agencies if the applicant possesses the claimed licenses and certifications (Issue Date, Expiration Date, Red Flags)
DRUG TESTING SERVICES
For certain businesses, identifying substance abuse is critical, and we offer a 5, 9 or 10 panel drug test services to determine usage of illicit drugs. Drug testing helps ensure a safer environment, may qualify companies for workers comp discounts, promotes customer confidence, and can keep companies is compliance with state and Federal laws and regulations.
